Glaze Frosting
1 pound organic confectionary sugar
2 tablespoons organic corn syrup
2 teaspoons organic vanilla extract
1/4 cup warm water, more if needed
all natural red food coloring
Make your favorite batch of sugar cookies (mine are Gluten Free sugar cookies) Remember to use organic ingredients as much as possible. Cool the cookies while you’re making the glaze frosting.
Stir all ingredients except the red coloring together. Mix well. Divide the frosting into two bowls. One will remain white frosting the other add 3-4 drops of all natural red coloring and stir.
After the cookies are cooled. Ice cookies on the bottoms of the cookie, not on their tops. Ice one side with pink and the other side with white. Let air dry for several hours until it is no longer sticky. Don’t stack on top of each other until the next day.
